Purpose Of This Blog
tldr; I’ve become a bit of a lazy dev who hasn’t been learning, so I want use this blog as a way to fix that.
As a developer, I’ve noticed that my learning and how much I contribute outside of work has become stagnant. The reason I’m making this blog is to hold myself accountable. I want to use this blog as a way to persistently learn and then to solidify what I’ve learned by explaining it to anyone reading this.
About Me
tldr; I’m the most basic developer
I’ve been a full time developer for approximately 3 years, but if I include internships, which I always do👀, I’m coming up on 5 years. I’m the most basic developer in existence, and a not so great writer. Worst part is I’ve never even been able to solve a leetcode hard 😔, which truly shows how lacking I am as a developer. Through this blog and all of the learning, I want to someday break the mold of being a basic dev.
Content Of This Blog
tldr; Weekly learnings I find that I think are important to becoming a good dev
I’m hoping to release content over my weekly learnings. In preceding weeks (or prior to) a post, I’ll read and try to understand a subject/topic that I find interesting and that I think are necessary for us to know as developers. I want to inform my readers and will try my best to my due diligence in making my content informative and useful to you. Topics may range from foundational books like Clean Code to modern web development practices such as HTMX. I love making references that might date this blog in the future ☺️. Keep this blog informative is my main goal, and I will try to stay away from more dramatic content, though a bit might slip up 👀. I may be opinionated and prone to a lot of mistakes, so I apologize in advance.
Format Of The Blog
tldr; Posts every Monday, hopefully 👀.
I’m hoping to stick to a weekly release schedule of posting on Mondays, the best day of the week. I’ll use the previous week to study up on new subject matter and get informed. I, of course, can’t say how consistent I’ll be. Since this is a way for me to learn I’ll still benefit from studying even though no one may read this.
To Any Readers
tldr; Thank you ☺️, and please send in any feedback I really appreciate it
I’m mostly writing this for myself, but if anyone manages to stumble upon this and finds it interesting, thank you. I really appreciate the fact that you took time out of your day to read my posts. Most of you are probably better developers or know more than I on certain subjects, so feedback is greatly appreciated. I’m writing this blog as a way to learn and become a better developer and maybe help others do the same. If anyone has anything they think I should study or learn please send it to me on the contact page.
Thank you again! 😊
